Overview

George Everest Nature Walk begins from Park Chungi, Hathipaon chowk which is about 3 km from Library Chowk in Mussoorie. Take a scenic & adventurous walk up to the famous Sir George Everest’s house & observatory. Sir George Everest was the surveyor General of India who completed the Trigonometric Survey Of India in late 1800s. The walk further takes you to mystical Wishing Well and ends at the starting point at Hathipaon (near Sea Green Lodge). George Everest area is extremely scenic & pristine, making it a worthy option for a one day trip in Mussoorie with friends and family.
