We have special swiss cottage camps with furniture bedding, attached toilets and running water at our mountain campsite near Mussoorie.

TrailHikers Mountain Camps are located amidst scenic & forested hills near the famous George Everest house in Mussoorie which was the residence of Sir George Everest, who was credited to the trigonometrical survey of the complete indian sub continent. In the honour of his work, the highest mountain in the world was named after him i.e. Mt. Everest. George Everest house was his official residence in the late 1800. Today, George Everest estate is a famous tourist spot on the western outskirts of Musoorie which gives splendid views of Doon valley to the south & panoramic Himalayan to the north. TrailHikers Mountain Camps offer adventure as well as luxury camping accomodation along with a range of outdoor adventure activities near Mussoorie like zip line, burma bridge, valley crossing, rock climbing, rappelling under the guidance of our outdoor adventure experts. Camp Itinerary

Swiss CampingCottage Camps

Our camp itinerary is designed specially for adventure seekers looking for weekend camping near Delhi. TRAILHIKERS offers special camping packages – 1 night 2 days and 2 nights 3 days for weekend campers who are coming from Delhi NCR and other adjoining areas. We also plan and organize customized camping for multiple days for educational institutions and corporate.

Day 1Check In plus Activities

Campers check in at our scenic mountain camps near Mussoorie at around 3:30-4:00 pm. Campers are served tea / coffee and snacks. Campers also have an option to have an early lunch on arrival.

Campers are allotted camping tents and are also briefed regarding camp safety & regulations by our camp team.

Campers can order lunch on arrival (charges payable at campsite)

Post lunch, campers can prefer to take a short nap or they can choose to explore and photograph at our scenic campsite. Campers can hike all the way upto George Everest peak which is just 20 mins walk from the campsite.

In the evening, campers can indulge in camp activities like Burma bridge, valley crossing, zipline etc. according to their interest and chosen package.

In the evening, gorge on yummy snacks with tea or coffee after your adventures at the camp (charges apply).

Dinner is served at 8:30 pm or as preferred.

Day 2Short Hike & Check Out

Morning tea is served at 6:30-7:00 am

Campers are served a tasty and nutritious breakfast at around 8:00 am.

Post breakfast, campers can indulge in adventure activities or they can go on a short nature walk to famous “Wishing Well” for 30-45 mins.

Yes, it is suitable for kids of all ages. The campsite is safe for children, also there are trained camp guides to ensure safety.

Yes, in fact camp location is quite safe for women & solo travelers. People of the region are very warm, caring & hospitable in nature.

What type of accommodation is available during this camp ?

Swiss camps accommodation (4-5 per tent). The camps have attached toilet facility.

Do we have to give tip money to camp staff ?

Camp staff will never demand any tip money from you. They just need their salary paid by the camps operator. However, it is always encouraging if one can give a little tip to them if they provide good services.

BEST CAMPING IN MUSSOORIE !!! Amazing location, awesome views & super comfortable deluxe swiss camps in Mussoorie. The camp staff was very warm, courteous & professional. The cooks treated us to a finger licking meals all the day & the adventure guides made sure we did adventurous outdoors activities (zipline & short hike to George Everest peak). We had a great time for weekend camping at TrailHikers Mountain Camps !!!!!
